The whole 'On My Own' thing on the internet......no matter what MP3 downloader you use, if you search for 'Bernadette Peters' and you find 'On My Own' w/ her name on it...it's not her!--She never recorded...what you are hearing is from the Original Cast Recording of 'Les Miserablés'.

Now, I don't know why some people have that under her name. I wonder myself why the people who have that just change the title to something else. Though, the internet isn't always a source you can trust for accurate information-even when it comes to finding who sang what song when you're searching for an MP3.

Also, lately..I've been seeing some people have the songs "Santa Baby", and "Send In The Clowns"..among a few others mistakenly labeled under her name, but they're not hers....you can obviously tell by listening to them that it's not her!

Here's a few others that have been mistakenly labled under BP's name:
Lovely Night- (claimed to be from the Cinderella movie starring Brandy)-but it's actually the old version starring Julie Andrews.

Certain ITW (Into the Woods) tracks.."At the Steps of the Palace; First Midnight; Giants in the Sky"

"Mandy Patinkin & Bernadette Peters- What You Can Lose"--in actuality it's not Bernadette singing.

Also, "Someone to Watch Over Me"- that is not her singing. I believe it's sung by Ruthie Henshall if you download it.
What is Bernadette's mailing address? If I write to her, will I get a reply?
