Oh, yeah! Although for the next few months I'll be up variously on Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays. I was looking to get good seats for a bunch of plays, or else going with a friend, and wound up with some weekends in NY. (This Sunday is "Wicked".)

The other night (I believe Tuesday), some people from Z100 were at Gypsy. Z100 is one of NYC's most famous radio stations; so Bernadette got a nice mention during the rush hour morning show on Wednesday morning

Hi Jean,

I'd be interested in hearing what you think of Wicked. I saw it when it was out of town. If you don't want to post on the boards while it's in previews, feel free to PM me.

I saw Wicked last week and all I have to see is it's brilliant. The most stunning costumes and sets I've ever seen, gorgous lighting, INCREDIBLE performances by Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth.

"It was an ad for Minksy-and the headline said: MADAME ROSE-
AND HER DAUGHTER, GYPSY!-" Act 2, Scene 6

Yes, I'd be interested to hear what Z100 said as well!

Z100 was talking about celebrity sightings, and either Danielle or Christine (2 of the morning show hosts) said they had seen Rosie O'Donnell in from of her new show, but that they had been on their way to see Bernadette Peters in Gypsy. And they said it was a really good show, and if you get a chance to go see it. It wasn't a review of the show, but it was a nice mention.
