Yeah, I have naturally curly hair too but I straighten it most days. Its very dark, almost black and I have very pale skin (its the irish in me!). I put a little frizz ease mousse in somedays when i just can't be bothered to straighten it and it goes into crazy ringlets. Kinda nice. Either way, my friends are always playing with it, touching it, leaning on it (and me underneath) and I've got one friend who even calls it her pillow!!!
Never mind theres a person attached to it!!!

they say bernadette's wonderful..........and she is

I know what you all mean! On a good day, my hair is wavy/curly (not tight ringlets, but the softer kind) and my friends are always touching it! I used to tell them to stop, but now I don't care since they don't stop.

I used to straighen my hair everyday too (and low and behold, I'm in highschool too!) but, I don't blow dry my hair. I go straight to the source with a flat iron. Those things are so bad for your hair, and I have to use the hottest setting because my hair is so thick. I just can't be bothered with it anymore lol, though I do do it for special occasions, aka the first day of school, etc.

LOL ok, when I first read the title of this thread, I thought it was about the musical "Hair." hahaha

Anyway...I have very straight hair, and believe me people touch my hair a lot; so it's not just curly hair. Apparently straight hair is fun to play with because you can do stuff with it and it just goes back the way it was without getting really messy (ok, stop cusing my straight hair now) lol
I would have been completely grossed out if strangers started touching my hair though....hell, I yelled at one of my best friends yesterday for touching my hair. It's like, gee thanks for touching my hair after we've just be riding the subway.
Straight as my hair is though, I am Irish, and it gets really frizzy sometimes.

*Side note, I was at the Buffalo concert too*

Hello everyone my name is Amanda. I've been haunting the boards for a while and just *finally* got around to registering. Nice to meet you all!

For frizzy hair, try Sleek Look by Matrix. It's a little pricey, but it's the only styling system that's worked for me, even when it's muggy or rainy.
