"This Week with George Stephanopoulos." She discussed shelter animals, the upcoming anniversary of the ASPCA, and her own two rescued dogs. An interesting feature of the program was that the broadcast interview was about 3 minutes long, while the entire almost 15 minute segment was on the internet.
The next day, Bernadette participated in a ceremony in Union Square Park marking the ASPCA anniversary.

Additionally, Bernadette rang The NASDAQ Stock Market Closing Bell on April 10, along with represenatives from the ASPCA.

Chita Rivera kept her distance in the Best Featured/Supporting category.

"Rita", in this cartoon series executive-produced by Steven Speilberg. The first time "Rita" appeared was on Sept. 21, 1993, in the episode "When Rita Met Runt". "Runt" was her dog-companion. once and possibly twice on this children's game show hosted by Jack Barry and broadcast as a primetime summer replacement series on NBC in the summers of 1951-1954. She probably appeared in the 1951 and/or 1952 season, but exact date(s) still unknown.
