Musical Comedy Tonight

Bernadette performed "Barcelona" with Richard Chamberlain in a scene from Company and "The Best Things In Life Are Free" with Bobby Van in a scene from Good News, in this first of a series of specials on PBS hosted by Sylvia Fine Kaye and devoted to musical theatre.

The Tonight Show

Bernadette guested on The Tonight Show with guest host George Carlin. Other guests included Donna Summer and Ricky Schroder. Bernadette sang "The Boy I Love" and "Pearl's A Singer," showed a clip from The Martian Chronicles, and discussed her new album, wearing glasses, and collecting clothes from the past.

Bernadette played the role of Genevieve Seltzer in this six hour miniseries adaptation of Ray Bradbury's novel, broadcast on NBC Jan27-29, 1980.
