The Islander
Bernadette guest starred in The Islander, a Dennis Weaver TV movie that was intended as the pilot for a crime series that didn't sell. It was filmed in Hawaii and broadcast on CBS. Others in the cast included Robert Vaughn, Sheldon Leonard, and Sharon Gless. Bernadette played the role of Trudy Engels, a woman hiding out from a grand jury.
