The Tonight Show

Bernadette guested on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Other guests included Rodney Dangerfield and Beau Bridges. Bernadette sang "Come Rain Or Come Shine" and "What'll I Do" and discussed clothing & shoes, and how she'll miss Johnny after he leaves the show.

The Last Mile

Bernadette starred in this original play by Terrence McNally presented on Great Performances 20th Anniversary Special on PBS. She played a soprano about to make her Metropolitan Opera debut in Tosca. Others in the cast included Paul Sorvino, Nathan Lane, and Bill Irwin. It later became available on video/DVD.

Animaniacs

Bernadette voiced the homeless singing cat, "Rita", in this cartoon series executive-produced by Steven Speilberg. The first time "Rita" appeared was on Sept. 21, 1993, in the episode "When Rita Met Runt". "Runt" was her dog-companion. Rita and Runt appeared occasionaly over the next several years. Rita last appeared on the show in 1996. (All dates approximate.)
