I'm sorry Jenny It is a very good thread, and thank you for posting the article (I never did thank you for that). I'm sure none of us meant for an argument to start.

Moljul, I do see that it may have seemed like she was accusing you, and I apologize for making it seem like you should have known she wasn't, but I would just like to clarify that it really wasn't you she was accusing. Honestly, I know who she thought it was; because I thought it was the same person.

Wow...Okay, here goes. This is my opinion so anyone can disagree if they want. I think that a lot of the times people may sound different online and on boards than they do in real life just because its hard to know how people are really feeling. Secondly, I think that many of us don't really appreciate Bwaybaby's posts. She posts new and really interesting things both about Bernadette and about other Broadway things. I for one, am very thankful, for her being on this board and sharing this information when she really didn't have to. I do notice however, that some people try to accuse her information as being false. Can we stop doing this? Any information is nice to read and I don't think anyone here has the right to say if its false or not.

However, Megan, people here (and in general) have the right to have different opinions and say so. This right is often not respected here. I prefer boards where there are discussions, not just posting of information. If someone disagrees with what I say, they have every right to post their feelings. And I have every right to believe I am right as well. No one here is God and therefore not right 100% of the time. And with opinions, there is often no right but just different views.

Like you said Megan, people often may sound different online and on boards than they do in real life. However, it has become blatantly obvious to me, that some posters consistently seek to correct and attack a certain poster. It is rude and uncalled for in my opinion.
Bwaybaby posts an abundant amount of valuable information on this board. And she does so out of pure kindness. I, for one, am thankful beyond expression to her. She doesn't have to do this you know, don't you think the least people could do is show a tad bit of respect and appreciation??? She is a wonderful contributor to this board and I, personally, can't imagine this board without her.

just like to remind you all that none of these wonderful little arguments would be possible at all if there were no board for you to fight on. let's spread some of those pats on the back you keep giving eachother to some other deserving people as well.

Moljul--

I want you to know that I was in NO way inferring nor was I accusing you of being "Anonymous". Actually, that's one of the things I do admire about you...even when your opinions are strong you post under your user name. Other than the part directed to "Anonymous" my post was directed towards you since your post was clearly directed to me..I was only responding. IF I had believed it was you posting Anonymously, believe me, I would have stated so. It actually never even crossed my mind that you would think I was referring to you as the "anonymous" poster while I was writing my post. I woudn't have posted how I valued your opinions or looking forward to reading your posts if I thought you were " Anonymous", would I?? I do apologize for any confusion, however.

I do find it ironic how YOU accuse ME of making accusations when infact you were so quick to accuse me of saying you were the "Anonymous" poster. You can choose to believe me or not, but you were not at all the person I thought was/is posting as "Anonymous". Infact,I am pretty sure you do not even know this person who I believe has, on several occasions posted as one anonymous or another. ( I am not saying all people who post as "anonymous" is this person...but I am pretty positive a few "anonymous" posts have been from this individual( and maybe one other). I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt however, and chalk it up to confusion rather than ignorant assumptions.

You Stated:
"And don't be so sure that others on this board do not know who YOU ARE and understand your true relationship with Bernadette."

I'm sure others on this board do know who I am and understand my true relationship with Bernadette because I am friends with a few people on this board and have introduced them to Bernadette. My relationship with Bernadette, such as my( or anyone else's) relationship with anyone is personal and private unless I ( or Bernadette or whomever is in that relationship )chooses otherwise.I've never stated we were " best friends" so anyone who has said that is putting words in my mouth.

I have never stated, nor have I ever intentionally led anyone to believe that I am the "only person here who has access to her under various circumstances." THAT would be rediculous! First, of all I do not see performers as people I can "get access to". ( and I am NOT saying you do. I just want to clarify that). I see them as people. People who posess a LOT of talent. But people just the same. I do not want to be an individual who assumes what anyone's relationships with anyone else might be . I have been trying depserately to stay away from that. My post about the article was merely from personal experience, it shouldn't be about right or wrong. It just is. Even people who experience the SAME thing will have a different way of describing it. But I will say this...there is one thing I do NOT do and never will do and that is lie. NOTHING in the world bothers me more than lies. Those who know me know how strongly I feel about this! To eleminate confusion, I am not pointing fingers, I am speaking for me personally, since some people seem to doubt what I have posted.

TO EVERYONE:

I most definitely realize that not all posters who post "Anonymously" do so with bad intent....however, these days on the internet...you just never know and you have to question why someone would, in a way, hide like that.To give them more courage to say things they wouldn't normally say if they posted under a username that they'd be associated with from then on out? Perhaps
It's also interesting when someone comes out of the woodwork and only starts posting when an arguement arises....

If you guys must know why I am so cautious....about a year ago, I had a friend( or so I thought) who was also a Broadway fan. Basically, in a nut shell...she used me to get backstage and to parties. I learned from then on to never disclose too much information and to be cautious about who I tell. So, to answer your question Jenny...No,I'm sorry. I am not going to state on this PUBLIC forum what my relationship with Bernadette is. I feel the details are too personal to share with people I do not know. I can assure you its nothing "mysterious" though LOL But I will state for the record,we are NOT "best friends".

To Dru and "Anonymous'--

I am sorry if I have come across as being "arrogant" that was NEVER my intentions. My intentions were however, to provide as much information as I could or atleast felt comfortable with. Please correct, me if I am wrong...but I have provided a LOT of information to this forum? And I DON'T want to sound conceited or arrogant by stating that but you guys leave me no other choice. And yes, I am well aware that others do their share of posting as well.
Anonymous, you posted this to me: "People come to this site to share their thoughts and appreciation of Bernadette Peters, not be to told."

Care to provide any examples of when I have done this??

One more thing, Jenny, thank you for posting the article. I woudln't want to see it, or any of these posts for that matter, get deleted....freedom of speech is a wonderful thing!!!

Oh, and kevin, I do want to say thank you for allowing this to be discussed and talked through and not deleting posts or this thread. I think deleting stuff only adds to the tension.

La La La
...We are the world! We are the children! We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let's start giving... La La La

LOL sorry, I just felt like singing. I get into a really silly mood on Monday evenings for some reason.
I don't know about anyone else, but I agree with BwayBaby; that it's good to talk through the problems and say what's on our minds (truth hurting or not).
I feel much better, and I think we should all try and start fresh with each other (well, to an extent)

LOL ooooo, sing along:

There's a place in your heart
And I know that it is love
And this place could be much
Brighter than tomorrow

And if you really try
You'll find there's no need to cry
In this place you'll feel
There's no hurt or sorrow

There are ways to get there
If you care enough for the living
Make a little space
Make a better place ...

Heal the world
Make it a better place
For you and for me
And the entire human race
There are people dying
If you care enough for the living
Make it a better place
For you and for me

If you want to know why
There's love that cannot lie
Love is strong
It only cares of joyful giving
If we try we shall see
In this bliss we cannot feel
Fear od dread
We stop existing and start living

The it feels that always
Love's enough for us growing
So make a better world
Make a better place ...

Heal the world
Make it a better place
For you and for me
And the entire human race
There are people dying
If you care enough for the living
Make a better place for you and for me

And the dream we were conceived in
Will reveal a joyful face
And the world we once believed in
Will shine again in grace
Then why do we keep strangling life
Wound this earth, crucify its soul
Though it's plain to see
This world is heavenly
Be god's glow

We could fly so high
Let our spirits never die
In my heart I feel you are all my brothers
Create a world with no fear
Together we cry happy tears
See the nations turn their swords into plowshares

We could really get there
If you cared enough for the living
Make a little space
To make a better place ...

Heal the world
Make it a better place
For you and for me
And the entire human race
There are people dying
If you care neough for the living
Make a better place for you and for me
...

There are pepole dying
If you care enough for the living
Make a better place for you and for me
...

You and for me ...

It's not that I have no life........I'm just bored
