I sat in the front row, and so did my best friend Michael. Yes, the man a couple of rows behind me asked her how to get over being afraid of dogs. He said he'd been attacked as a child, and wanted to know if she had any tips on how to get over that fear. That's when she brought the squishy bulldog out, lol. That dog was TOO cute!! And yes, there was a little boy sitting on the floor next to me, using his mother's digital camera just about the entire time she was reading, and he was using flash like right in her face!!! I was SO annoyed, but I didn't say anything, because I didn't want to be rude to Bernadette....
Before she came out to read, that little boy was running all over the store, and he ran back where Bernadette was, and she read the book to him....but he ended up screaming, and his mom wasn't even there....she had come over to talk to me and the Lauren who was sitting in the front row. That was very sweet of Bernadette to read to him.....even if he was obnoxious, lol! The whole experience was magical. I'm in the process of doctoring my photos, but when I'm done, I will post. I hope the rest of you who attended had a fabulous experience too!
