Yeah i had a problem with that too. The color purple- while a good show, was last season. I'll i can think of was it was to get higher ratings

Darn it, I got home late and missed the opening section, sounds like it was pretty great.
Bernadette looked impossibly great. I never before realized how much Harvey sounds like Tom Waits. Or Howlin' Wolf. Either one.
I am not a fan of the over-singing style employed by Fantasia either. Otherwise a very good show. Ebersole was wonderful.

The only thing that really bothered me about Fantasia's performance was that she wasn't in character...I mean, she didn't have a costume or wig on or anything. I could be wrong. Thus it looked like a pop performance rather than a character performance.
