well i rented the jerk 2 nights ago. i wanna buy it. it is soooo funny.
"I DONT WANNA PUKE!" hahah too funny for words.
and all the other lines you guys said too. and i like the disco dance. mrs. peters does a fine split. i also LOVE her face at the dinner table when navin says there are snails on her plate LOL. aaaaaaaand random horn playing on the beach is priceless. i love this movie.

hi im kinda new ive been lurking but havent posted anything yet. ive been a bernadette fan for a long time and i totally have to agree with everyone on the funny parts their my favs too but did u ever notice she looks straight at the camera twice when steve is smushing her face together haha i noticed it its soo funny!

Okay, well as my first post to this forum, I suppose it is only fitting that I join in on a chat about "The Jerk," since it was my introduction to Bernadette. Of course, that is mostly because my father has been in love with her for as long as I can remember. She is his "celebrity wife" and he wishes desperately that they had made a Betty Boop movie so that she could have a starring role. Seriously, I love him but the man needs help.
Anyway, I love this movie, but the way she delivers certain lines literally has me rolling. Obviously the "stufffff" line is classic, but I also love the whole, "Do you have a balloon?" conversation. Just too cute.
"I chose and my world was shaken, so what? The choice may have been mistaken...the choosing was not..."

^hi and welcome!  another bernadette fan yay! im fairly new here myself. and yes, i just rented the jerk earlier this week. as a matter of fact, i just returned it today HAHA. anyways, she is classic. she is also drop dead gorgeous. especially in that movie. she's so pure and classy looking. anyways, i can go on and on but my next movie i wanna see is of course pennies from heaven. cant wait! ^have fun here. (my names sarah by the way.)
