Bernadette stopped the show and made history giving one of the greatest musical performances ever seen on television.

Bernadette earned her 7th Tony nomination for her potrayal of Rose in the 2003 Gypsy revival. The winner was Marisa Jaret Winokur (Hairspray). The other nominees were Melissa Errico (Amour), Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio (Man of La Mancha revival) and Elizabeth Parkinson (Movin' Out). Chita Rivera kept her distance in the Best Featured/Supporting category.
