From: Bradenton/Sarasota, FLA | posted: 8/26/2003 at 4:44:15 PM ET I'm "dated" too and haven't seen a lot of Britney, but I have seen enough, thank you very much.
What I know mostly of her is a very funny impression a co-worker (with a pre-teen son) does of her singing the phrase "Baby, baby, baby." Cracks me up every time. And those Pepsi commercials -- esp. that yucky one with an ogling Bob Dole and the dog. Ugggh. Shivers.
Her name and Bernadette Peters should not be uttered in the same sentence.
[Spears is also the example I give when I'm ranting about people with little real talent who are famous and making zillions of dollars, while I see people with more talent in their fingers who are not as famous or getting the level of attention or, like many theater performers, just making scale. I saw Les Miz in D.C. last summer and was thinking this as I was listening to some extraordinary voices.
Ooops. I ranted again...]

Naaaah. No one is upset.
It's all for fun (and love of Bernadette).
Here, I can do Britney and Bernadette in one degree:
They are both on the same planet (but entertainment-wise they aint even close).
I want to come up with a toughie too...

| posted: 8/26/2003 at 8:47:59 PM ET Well I don't know the specific rules of the game but I don't think the Bette Midler connection should count though I see it has been used a few times already. I think it should be that the connections actually worked together or had some sort of relationship.
I was thinking Chris Noth was on Law and Order with Jerry Orbach who was in Dirty Dancing with Jennifer Grey who is the daughter of Joel Grey who was in George M with Bernadette (and is a very good friend of her's besides)

| posted: 8/26/2003 at 8:54:52 PM ET No offense, StinKerRoadMann, (love the name by the way). I'm not really sure if that type of connection is allowed. Perhaps it is. I guess I was just kind of questioning. It just seems like the game isn't as much of a challenge if you can connect through a common role particularly one played by every middle age actress out there. LOL But if it is allowed by the group, then I would say you got it.

Woo! That's 2!
How about: Salma Hayek
(Can be done in 3)

Regis: And look at all this hair. My God. That's a lot of hair. Look at this. How does hair get this way?
Bernadette: Um.. it sort of grew out of my head like this.
