I bought it at the signing yesterday and I listened to it in the car on the way home from Manhattan. It was so funny because from start to finsh (without hitting repeats) is exactly how long it took me to get home.
I'm listening to it now for the third time. "Rose's Turn" is my favorite recording on there; and I love that they have that last dialogue scene with Rose and Gypsy.

I wonder why they left the ending of "Broadway" (the song that Dainty June and the Farmboys sing) out?

The entire cast sounds so great. Just listening to it makes me want to see it again.

*Listening to "You Gotta Get a Gimmick" as I post this.

I think they stopped "Broadway" when they did because the rest of the song is so visual and might of sounded kind of funny without being able to see the melodramatics of June. Just my take.

I love the whole CD but I have to say the Gypsy Overture is about as close to perfect as this world can come. That trumpet solo is just awesome.
