BP and Ms. Applegate were definately the highlights in my opinion. Best line hands down was BP's...the one about her flower already having been plucked...."a few petals here and there." LOL!

I think Bernadette was brilliant in the role. Her lines were hysterical! Not to mention that entire scene where her and Prince John are on their first date in her apartment.

Every time I see people holding the frogs I picture potatoes.

Bernadette looks really good in this movie. Martin Short is so funny and adorable.

I liked when Martin Short said to Andrea Martin, "You have no idea what it's like to work for someone that is so vain and self-absorbed." and Andrea Martin said, "As a matter of fact I do." and as soon as she said that the camera cut to Bernadette. LOL

The last scene was really pretty, but so korny and predictable. Oh well, it was still cute.

Bernadette was at her delicious best in this movie. Anyone notice how her character had been married 3 times before? Sound familiar? "After 3 husbands, it takes a lot of butter to get you back in the frying pan."
She looks so young and gorgeous in this role.
I can't wait to see her for the 2nd time in Gypsy in early August. I saw it the first time midway through previews.

Also, anyone notice that Hamesh, is the actor who plays Sir Nearly Headless Nick from the Harry Potter movies? It took me a while to make the connection.

I'm so glad I joined the forum! I've been reading the messages on the site for months now, don't know why I didn't join before!

Am I the only one who thinks that Billy Connelley ( Hamesh) sounds like Shrek? LOL

I thought John Cleese plays Nearly Headless Nick in the Harry Potter movies; not Bill Connelley?

I think Bernadette's hair looks particularly nice in this movie. In most of the scenes it seems more like soft/wavy than wild/curly. It's very pretty.

I thought the movie was too cute! Bernadette was PERFECT, as usual. The whole Broadway diva thing was hillarious. John Cleese (from Monty Python) does play Nearly Headless Nick...but the guy in the movie looked a lot like him...I almost thought it was him for a minute. I love the deflowering lines. I thought Prince John really was Charming!

Bump it with a trumpet!

I thought it was also funny how Bernadette kept asking "What do you mean by that?" when someone made a comment about "how many chances she had left" and how she was always worried about looking too old. The line Serena says, "I'll get you a bigger size" was also great.

I thought the movie was really good!! Martin Short and Andrea Martin were so funny. Bernadette was fabulous and she looked great. I liked Christina Applegate and Sean Maguire (Prince Charming) together. They were cute :-) Bernadette was in it a lot more than I thought she would be. She's amazing!!

The movie was sooo cute! I love how, although Bernadette played the stuck up diva in the movie she still got a happy ending! And when she kissed the frog I was studying how she held it and then it made sense that it really was a potato.... lol

I loved it! I thought Sean Sean Maguire and Martin Short were hysterical together! Same with Martin Short and Andrea Martin! Bernadette's character was the kind of character that I would love to play, it looks like so much fun! She looked gorgeous in all of those costumes. Her hair looked stunning, as usual. I really liked it!
