What channel is NY1 for those of us in the New York area??

thats ok.. im just a little embarrased though.. i have io, and dont have channel 1 anymore, so i wasnt aware..

I'm a little confused as to what cable or satellite provider you have but it is my understanding that NY1 is a channel exclusive to New York Time Warner Cable. So if you don't have that, I don't think you have NY1. I have friends on the upper east side who have RCN and they can't stand the fact that they don't have NY1.

Hmm.. well I know that i have cablevision.. and i have about 500 channels.. but they start at channel 2.. im just as confused as you.. thanx for trying to helo though

if you have cablevision than I'm quite certain you do not have NY1.
