Ebay weirdness

So many questions. A "seal"? What would I need to keep a seal at home? Do I need a pool? It seems rather cruel to give away a living creature like that.
Or is this a royal seal, like the wax stamp you would see on an important document? Because that would be pretty cool.
And what's with that weird fantasy picture? Did that come with any of your copies of this album?

What a shame --- Free shipping is available only for the US, otherwise I would definitely have taken that Buy It Now offer. I think $9.95 is very reasonable for a pet seal. It's probably a performing one too. Maybe it dances around to that Bernadette album?

That is fabulous! Seals are so wonderful, for centuries they've played a huge part in Scottish island & highland mythology and folk tales. Slightly OT, but getting back to our second favourite subject (after Bernadette) on this board ... no, it's not that LuPone woman ...this is so wonderful

Border collies are like the hyperactive Carl Sagans of the dog world. Little geniuses constantly looking for something new to figure out.

I think so too, but unfortunately someone has beaten her to it. I'm told the plot goes like this ... Gin, the Border Collie, is homeless and living in Hyde Park in London. One day, she spots a nice lady sitting on a bench and follows her home. But she loses sight of the lady in all the traffic and crowds at Picadilly Circus. Next day in Hyde Park she sees the nice lady again, but this time the lady hails a Black London cab and takes Gin all the way to Shaftsebury Avenue, the most famous street in London's Theatreland. "West End Woofs", an annual adopt-a-pet charity event, just happens to be taking place there that day, and Gin gets to go up on the stage with the lady. Without any promting whatsoever - Gin goes into her dance. Campbell MacGregor, a well known West End Producer, and Stephanie Songheim, a well known West End composer, just happen to be in the crowd and are impressed by Gin's talent. They also happen to be looking for a co-star for the pretty lady's new musical, "Dogs at Sea", and hire Gin immediately. I can't spoil the plot by telling you any more but it's certainly original, don't you think?
