Are previews considered to be.....full dress rehearsals???why are tickets still $100??

I really wouldn't consider previews to be "dress rehearsals". I mean, yes they are still learning what works and make changes throughout the show for whatever works best. But I wouldn't call it a dress rehearsal nor do I think most of the actors would consider it to be one with about a thousand+ people there paying up to $100 to see them perform. Most shows usually have a full dress rehearsal for invited family and friends before previews begin.

It's pretty much standard policy to set the prices for previews and performances to be the same. Several years ago previews were less but not anymore.
