I see that Bebe Neuwirth has a concert at the Strathmore Music Center, I may try to go.
I have often thought that this would be an absolutely terrific place to see Bernadette perform. It is one of the nicest concert halls I've ever seen, and I've been to a few! The entire room is designed with the best acoustics in mind, and it is also a very comfortable and attractive setting. Acoustic instruments and orchestral ensembles sound AMAZING in this place. Lots of artists record stuff there.

I saw Barbara Cook at Strathmore (Montgomery County, Maryland) in May 2005--I was sitting on the side, way up--there was a very distinct echo, not very pleasant. I talked with someone who was at that concert but in a more central seat--no problem.
A word to the wise.
(Oh yes, it's quite lovely, and just a surprisingly quick 1/2 hour drive on a Sunday.)
