The condolences being left on her site are very moving, if you haven't had the chance to read them yet. Many are from kind-hearted fans and people who understand, and a few are from those who had the chance to know Michael, if only for a while.

I'm glad you brought this up Jenn. I was wondering what you all thought if I were to print out all of the website condolences and include them in the scrapbook?

Megan, please excuse me if this sounds a bit dense! Do you mean the ones on this site? They have already made arrangements to give Bernadette the messages on her official site.

No, now I'm the one being dense. I did originally mean that I was going to print out the ones from her site, and thank you for reminding me that they are already giving those to her. I completely forgot. But now that we're on the topic...

Would everyone okay me printing out the 14+ pages of condolences from our site?

Megan - I don't mind you printing out the condolences but I would be careful with what you print out because some of the posts deal with what has been said or shown on TV, and I don't really think that's necessary to include.

Megan, what do you think of this idea? If people want to send their condolences for the scrapbook, they should send them to you. That way, we don't run the risk of including those who, for whatever reason, did not wish to have theirs included, and we won't have to worry too much about the other stuff.

That's a good idea Jenn because I was so shocked when I wrote mine I want to rephrase it a little before Bernadette reads it.

"Oh no, you won't. No, not a chance. No arguements, shut up and dance." -You'll Never Get Away From Me

"And if it wasn't for me then where would you be Miss Gypsy Rose Lee?" -Rose's Turn

The guest book seems to be working better now. The first couple of days, it seemed like every message was repeated two or three times.

I noticed there was a message from someone who said they were posting on behalf of the astronaut Charles Camarda(the one who took her CD on the space shuttle)[acccording to some article I came across, they actually got together for breakfast after he returned]and before the first batch of messages was cleared, I saw one from Ann Hampton Callaway

Megan, I agree with Jenn. You would have to look at each and every post to decide whether to include it, and I'm not sure you--or anyone else--would want to make those decisions.

There is also the issue that "Rose" brought up--many people might want to rephrase, knowing that Bernadette would see the post.

By the way, I've had the same thought over the last few days, that it would be nice if Bernadette knew that there are hundreds of messages for her here, but I just can't figure out how to go about this. Perhaps sending a message to her web-master, just letting him know??
