Side orchestra is okay as well. Its the side tiers that you should stay away from.

My ticket came in the mail already.

I just went to the site (for curiosity's sake) to see what seats were still available, and Orchestra is crossed out which must mean they are all sold out for that section. This concert is going to be amazing...lol even if I have to watch through binoculars.
Ah well, my seat may be high up, but at least it's center.

I picked up my tickets as well - I was unbelievably nervous while waiting for them - I just had the feeling that something was going to go wrong with them. But nothing did and I have them saved in a safe place.

Christine - High up in the tiers in Avery Fisher Hall is not as high up as Carnegie or the Met. You'll be fine there.

Well, it's not as high up as those places, but it is far back. :[ It'll be okay though.
