Stella would have been quite old by now, yes? She could have simply lived out her life.

Not really. I think they adopted Stella and Kramer in 1998 and she was maybe a year or two old at the time. So clearly it wasn't old age.

Piggy is a Staffordshire Terrier who, apparently, looks like Piglet. Unfortunately, there is no picture.

That's another name for a Pit Bull so that's good they still have the same breed.

Um, Michael told a story about how they were walking on the beach and Bernadette saw an injured bird in the ocean and Michael went out to get it and some women on the beach thought he was in trouble. So, the coast guard came out to save him. And all he was trying to do was save the bird (he eventually brought it on shore).

I love that story. I can just imagine Bernadette's reaction to the whole thing. Was it an interview with Bernadette and Michael?

There is this statement at the back of the magazine: "All rights reserved. No part of this periodical may be reproduced without written permission from the publisher." What does everyone think--shall we defy this copyright restriction and print the article out here, anyway? We've done it before, with newspaper and other magazine articles...and I'll bet there are quite a few folks who just don't have the time/inclination/whatever to go to the trouble of phoning to order and paying the $$ for the magazine.

Does Mr. Webmaster have an opinion? (By the way, I scanned a photo from the article and sent it to you, Kevin.)

I would buy a copy, but I'm literally broke. Not that that's anyone's problem but my own, but it would still be great to read it somhow.

For those who've gotten their copies already, did you order it from the book store or the publisher?

Since all our orders may have drawn the publisher's attention to this site, I would recommend not posting the entire article, but I think a nice detailed paraphrasing with a few quotes here and there especially of any new info or stories like ANH did should be ok.

PTM-I'm curious as to where these copies are coming from as well. FWIW, I ordered from the magazine's office, and I have not received mine. I ordered mine Friday.
