Hey all!
It's been a long time since I last posted here, but it's great to be back! Anyways, I got tickets to go see Bernadette at the King Center in Melbourne Florida, and i want to try to meet her before the show. I was just wondering if anyone could give me advice about meeting her, like how early to get there and what to say!

My only advice to you is if you are going to try to meet her before the concert, make it VERY brief. She often arrives just before the concert and does not have time to stop for more than a few seconds. A friend of mine once did meet her before the show. She gave Bernadette a bouquet of flowers and a quick hello and she was off.

I stayed after when I went to her Buffalo concert 2 years ago which may be better for you to do. We all waited outside the stage door in the cold and then she signed things and took pics w/ those who wanted them. There weren't that many people though (cuz I think the average age of the audience was 60+ and not too into waiting by the stage door) Not sure what kind of crowds Florida has. I suspect a lot of snowbirds.

So she does sign stuff and take pics after concerts like she did after Gypsy? Has anyone ever been to a stage door in CA? What are the crowds like?

When I met Bernadette I was so neverous. But she is really friendly so just be yourself.

I met Mrs. Peters after seeing her in Gypsy on April 25.
My mom saw her in Mack and Mabel and i listen to the cd all the time.
