ANyways...I'm going tos ay this because I think it's funny and I'm sure I'll get strangled on the board for saying it...but it's interesting that she's tlaking about age and staying young in this interview and yet I thought she looked like she had aged quite a bit since I've last seen her...(not that she still doesn't look gorgeous)...just found that interesting.

Thanks for the heads up.

quote: What kind of hormones do you wear a patch for?
It's for hormone replacement therapy, which can be taken orally or in a patch. If you do a quick Google search, you'll find plenty of information, pro, con, and objective as possible. The benefits of taking it by patch is that you avoid the risk of blood clotting and creating proteins in your liver that lead to heart disease. On the other hand, the pill form can fight HDL levels (that's your "bad" cholesterol).
Other than that-if you're really interested, read some articles or books about women's health (some Internet sites are overly-pro or overly-con. Try to find the ones that are from universities and health organizations-the prescription websites,of course, won't be completely objective.). I'm not saying that to be snotty-it's still a controversial subject, and since this is an issue that doesn't affect me yet,I don't know all the details. It's just one of the many reasons why women need to find a doctor whom they can trust and feel comfortable talking to,no matter what stage of life she's in. (preachy preachy Jenn) I know some info, but not enough so that I feel comfortable talking about it at length.
