Can anyone tell me if the song "Youll never know" is from a musical? I love it and have a recording of Bernadette singing it but was just wondering what its from?
Thanks.
Roxie.

It won the Academy Award that year for best song for the team of Harry Warren and Mack Gordon. Interestingly, June Havoc was also in the cast. It is a great song, isn't it?

Another bit of trivia is that Bernadette played Alice Faye in the off-broadway musical Curley McDimple. Connections everywhere.

The first cut is an amateur recording of "You'll Never Know" which Streisand and her mother paid to have made in 1955, when she was 13. She's precocious, but the voice and phrasing are obviously not mature yet. It's fun to hear, though.
