I was in Barnes and noble the other day and I looked up Bernadettes name on the computer. It came up with only one CD and that was Sherry. I was amazed to see this album had only been realeased in Febuaary and stared not only Bernadette but also Nathan Lane, Carol Burnett, Mike Myers, Tommy tune, amazing! I bought thew recording and although Bernadette only sings one song it is a beautiful song that is not easily forgotten. I recommend it!

It was just released in February because it was recorded in the last two years. Contrary to a recent article that listed it as an old recording, it is a brand new recording of an old musical.

Also, Bernadette sings a lot more than 1 song on it. She is the female lead, second only to Nathan Lane.

Here are some other discussions of Sherry from this site. We've discussed the CD lots--type in the word "Sherry" in the little search box on the upper right of your screen and you will see the rest of it:

She sings more than one song--I have the CD in hand as I type this but I don't have time to count all of the songs where she sings.

I'm amazed that B&N only had one of her CD's--not even Gypsy or Annie Get Your Gun or R&H or Sondheim Etc??

B&N never has cd's I'm looking for...I found almost all of them at FYE at 6th & 51st in NYC and they do have Sherry as well as all of BP's solo albums.

Here's another link to one of our Sherry conversations:

One of my favorite songs on there is "With This Ring." I love hearing her and Tom together again, and I really like the end of the song when the music gets really dramatic and the lyrics are overlapping.

That's funny-I bought my Sherry copy at B&N. And that was in the New Orleans area. I bought her Sondheim Etc there as well. However, sometimes people special order copies and then never pick them up,so that may have been the reason why I found it there.
