Yeah, we all know that the fat chick from HAIRSPRAY won because she's the first fat leading lady on B'way, yadda-yadda.

Bernadette is better in the real show; her Tony performance was a little mechanical, maybe she was just having an off night. I've seen it four times, and each time she's absolutely electrified the audience, and she didn't quite reach that on the Tony's. The lesson here? GO SEE GYPSY RIGHT NOW!!!
