piece later on in the year.

Definitely Being Alive. It shows off a lot of talent, so does the rest of
the songs, but there is something about being alive that sends a chill up my
spine.

Alto and Soprano I'm special :) I think now I may go with Man of La Mancha
cause my friend Sara wants to play trumpet at talent show but not solo, and
usually you just get piano accompaniment so that would be fun. The thing is
now I just got My Favorite Broadway: The Leading Ladies on video and I love
just about every song so I'm going insaaaaaane with all the choices :) I'm
definitely not doing anything Cats or Phantom (you couldn't PAY me enough to
do Cats), no Joseph or JCS, Aspects of Love is the only ALW possibility I'm
seeing right now (I *love* Love Changes Everything). I'm open to most
Sondheim stuff, except Follies (I did it last year; How Could I Leave You).
I was thinking The Miller's Son but I'm not sure how appropriate it is
(we're a Zero Tolerance school, we did Grease last year and had to say Rizzo
was "pg", not "pregnant"). I was thinking about I Gots Plenty O Nuthin from
Porgy and Bess, but I heard someone did it for a musical cabaret the school
did the year before I got there. I was also thinking When I Look At You or
Only Love from Scarlet Pimpernel. We did Your Daddy's Son in chorus last
year. There's also some of my Fosse favorites; Cabaret, All That Jazz,
Steam Heat which I could get away with doing I think.... my school isnt too
Fosse friendly. (I got yelled at for wearing my Fosse ribbon when I found
out Gwen died, how fascist can you get???) And....wow I just wrote a TON :)
Well I'm meeting with my mentor tomorrow, we'll probably spend 3 hours
working something out *g*

I just got the London cast of Company, Elaine Stritch's CLONE is in that,
their voices are so much alike it's scary. But yea I know what you're
talking about.

Yea Being Alive is a really good song -- but i'm not sure that I would do it
for a talent show. it's also kind of difficult... with holding notes and
stuff like that. but hey - if you've got the voice go for it! I'm just
sayin be careful! I did it once... lol... lets just say nobody can hold a
candle to Bernadette! LOL!
hey did anyone catch bernadette with Regis Today? I was taking a retarded
Geometry final.... but I'll get to watch it tomorrow! and... does anyone
know what time it comes on because last time she was on it I woke up at 7:00
in the morning and watched the preview channel until 9:00 and I still missed
it!! that would be a great help! oh - and tell me if you're central,
eastern, or pacific time so that i can make sure that i dont miss it again!
thanx a bunch!
Catherine :)

See headers | I watched part of it today. It's on 9-10 am EST. I was sleeping in, but my
little sister ran in around 9:30 shouting "Bernadette is on Regis!!" I
jumped out of bed right away, of course.
