continues to break my heart.
As for the gigantic and tremendously difficult (i'm not kidding! that's
like 8 people singing completely different things at once!) I Heard Someone
Crying, why not just ask someone who was involved in the production you saw
if you could copy it? If not, try your library, some have a decent score
section.
None of the Soldier's Girls in the original cast of SITPWG (this came up way
later, I read digest folks!) were in the original cast of ITW, but
replacement casts I don't know... I know Betsy Joslyn was in replacements
casts of both shows... she always plays Bernadette's roles either after her
or when she's sick :-)
And whoever said Danielle Ferland played Cassidy in the Secret Garden?
There's um no one named Cassidy in the Secret Garden. So now I'm curious,
lol

Shoshanna, you are absolutely right about that song being difficult! I played
Claire in "The Secret Garden" last October, and it was probably the hardest
song to learn. And to whoever is looking for the music (sorry I can't
remember now who it was) I may still have it somewhere... If I can find it I
will let you know.

LOL! No, Danielle Ferland played Martha, in a production in which Cassidy
Ladden (Jessie Oakley from AGYG) played Mary. It was at the North Shore
Music Theatre last October. So that's what that's about. There are photos
available at:

(it looks really plain because it's one of the frames from the site) There
is only one with Danielle, because I never took pictures of her backstage.
I did meet her several times tho', along with her mother, and she's the
sweetest person.
Agreed, the music can be very difficult. I'm not sure what the original
person inquiring about it (Andy) wanted to use it for, probably just
recreational playing. Your best bet IS to try and find somebody with the
music already, but if all else fails the entire score is available. Good
