Let's all take a deep breath now- this isn't a life altering development. No
one ever said we had to agree about EVERYTHING, just liking Bernadette
Peters- which we all do. We've always gotten a long fine before..

On a different note (not that I don't want to continue talking about the
Bette Midler thing, I do, I'll take anyone on that thinks they can put Bette

Well you can't hold it against people for not liking Bette. Verbally bashing
her is one thing, but just plain disliking her is another.. I hate Andie
McDowell, that's just the way it is. She rubs me the wroooooong way. I just
don't see movies with her and don't sign up for fan lists about her and
everything seems to be okay. If you just don't like people saying nasty
things about her, that I can understand- but you can't expect to change
anyone's opinion about her..
Now about AGYG- That is SOOOO fabulous!! I would love to see it again! I
never will, but I would really like to ;0) My family swears the only way
we're going to NY again is to see Kiss Me Kate (which I wouldn't mind
either..)

spiral. I suggest that this thread be dropped immediately, or perhaps I

the last word...so this e-mail is where it'll stop for me, until of course i
get verbally flogged again.
As for your threats on reporting to onelist...I don't see what good it's
going to do, or what progress you're dreaming it could possibly create.
(you're not going to just report me, but everyone involved including
yourself??...okay...) At most IF the onelist people actually took the time
to read your report, they'd either not take it seriously (this fighting
stuff happens on every list), or they'd get a good laugh. People don't like
whiners, so I wouldn't approach it that way...If you come off aggressively
they'll probably just ignore you because that's rude, and if you come off
casual or polite they won't see it as a priority because if it were a REAL
emergency you'd be either whiny or aggressive... Of course if you could get
a bunch of people from here to report all this, well THEN you might get
somewhere...
If you're considering having me removed from this list (i have no intentions
on shutting up or unsubscribing, and i've been actively participating on
other threads and will continue to do so)....a smart thing to do would be to
approach the list moderator Eric, rocketstail@a... . I guarentee it'd be
more effective than approaching the onelist front office. Besides, he has a
better idea of what's been going on....
I'll warn you though...I haven't broken any of the list rules. I haven't
used any inappropriate language. And I've stayed on topic (i was sticking up
for bernadette from the very beginning)....Did I badmouth other listmembers?
I guess if you want to call it that you can..I see it as disagreeing and
argueing myself, and I haven't called anyone names...And if you think I
should be booted for this reason, just keep in mind that it wasn't just me
involved in this stuff...so if I'm booted for that reason, everyone else who
was involved needs to be as well because they're just as guilty....if we're
guilty at all. Not for me to decide.
I really don't know what would make more sense? Being kicked off a
Bernadette Peters list for sticking up for Bernadette Peters...Or being
kicked off a Bernadette Peters list for saying that Bette Midler is fat.
Those reasons not good enough? How about being kicked off a Bernadette
Peters list for disagreeing with other members?....On a subject that has
nothing to do with Bernadette!
I guess some people are just too high strung. So there are the three things
I've done wrong. Think about them and decide whether or not we should be
reported to onelist or to Eric.
